Mr. Johnson is the founder of ASD, Inc., functions as its CEO. His background as a software developer and passion for technology has allowed him to lead and participate in several global projects. Mr. Johnson was the featured speaker throughout the US and Europe regarding conversion from older IBM systems to the IBM iSeries. Mr. Johnson was one of the project leaders for Product Link at Caterpillar. Product Link allows Caterpillar and its dealers to track the location of equipment and report critical engine and systems data using GPS and Low Earth Orbiting Satellites. Mr. Johnson consulted with the governments of the United States, New Zealand, and Singapore regarding the use of the technology developed in Product Link to monitor and tax traffic congestion and highway usage fees and was the lead consultant on the world wide systems conversion for Nestle when they migrated from IBM System/36 to the iSeries hardware platform.
Ryan Lally is Vice President of the Network Infrastructure and Security Division at ASD. Mr. Lally began his career at ASD in 2001 working as a salesman in the Security Division. Prior to his work at ASD, Mr. Lally worked as a District Manager at ADP, then as a sales consultant at a small local technology reseller in St. Louis. In 1999 Ryan went to work as a Software Sales Overlay for EMC. Ryan moved into a Sales Management Role at ASD in 2005, and in 2006 combined the Network and Security Divisions into a single sales and engineering entity. The focus of this restructuring was to increase ASD’s ability to serve customers efficiently by offering a team of technologist and sales people who understand every facet of a customer’s Network Infrastructure and Security Posture. The outcome of this strategy is that the Network Infrastructure and Security Division can support a customer’s business requirements in a manner that justifies costs and resources in a cohesive manner. Mr. Lally is a Graduate of the University of Missouri- Columbia, with a Degree in English.
Greg Kyburz is Vice President of the IBM Systems Division at Advanced System Designs. Greg began his career at ASD in 1997 working in sales and technical marketing in the IBM Division. Mr. Kyburz has authored IBM certification tests and presented at conferences and users groups and is widely known as an expert in the area of IBM Power Systems. Prior to his work at ASD, Mr. Kyburz worked at IBM as a Product Marketing specialist. Mr. Kyburz has maintained a leadership role at ASD since he started, initially managing consulting services and in 2008 took on the management role of sales of the IBM division. Since that time revenues have grown substantially, as the focus on IBM Systems increased under Gregs’ guidance. Mr. Kyburz has a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
